Fuel Surcharge Information For Bestfares.com Cruise Lines

Several major cruise lines recently implemented fuel surcharges in response to increasing fuel costs. The specific terms of the
surcharge vary depending upon the cruise line.

Below is a brief summary of the fuel charge by cruise line:
Carnival Cruises (includes Costa Cruises, Cunard Line, Holland America
Line, Princess Cruises and The Yachts of Seabourn): A $7 per person, per day fuel surcharge, capped at $98 per person for first and second passengers, per voyage, is effective for all bookings. A $2 per person, per day surcharge will apply to third and fourth passengers in a cabin (capped at $28 per person, per voyage).
Royal Caribbean Cruises (includes Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises): An $8 per person, per day fuel surcharge, capped at $112 per person, per voyage, applies to bookings. A $2 per person, per day surcharge, capped at $42 per person, will apply to third and fourth passengers in a cabin.
Norwegian Cruise Lines: A $9 per person, per day fuel surcharge is applied to bookings. A $4 per person, per day surcharge will apply to third and fourth passengers in a cabin.
MSC Cruises: A $6 per person, per day fuel surcharge is applied to
bookings. Only applies to first and second passengers in cabin.
Crystal Cruises: An $7 per person, per day fuel surcharge is applied
to bookings. Applies to all passengers in a cabin.
